TED Digital Warranty Terms and Conditions
At TED Digital, we aim to keep our warranty straightforward, customer-friendly, and free from registration requirements. Our guarantees apply automatically from the date of purchase, provided you retain proof of purchase (such as a receipt or invoice) for any claims. This warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and installation by a qualified professional. It does not cover damage from misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, improper cleaning, improper installation, unauthorised modifications, or normal wear and tear.
Guarantee Periods
- Digital components (e.g., processors, controls, and electronic parts): 5 years.
- Consumable items (e.g., hoses, washers, seals, and similar replaceable parts): 1 year.
- Accessories (e.g., shower heads, handsets, and metal parts of controls): 10 years.
Coverage Details
- For the first 1 year from purchase, we cover both parts and reasonable labour costs for repairs or replacements.
- After the first year, coverage is for parts only; you are responsible for any labour or installation costs.
- “Dead on Arrival” (DOA) claims: If a product arrives faulty and does not function upon initial setup, we will cover parts replacement. However, labour costs are only included if the product was fully installed by a qualified professional, handed over to the end customer, and confirmed as satisfactorily operational before the fault was reported. If installation was incomplete or improper, labour claims are excluded to ensure accountability in the setup process.
